Our Story
Creator + Facilitator
Juliana Bajovic is the creator and facilitator of The Kindred Clubhouse, an innovative learning space that prioritizes calm focus and peaceful practices for kids ages 5-12+. After 15 years of working in traditional classrooms, she sought to create a place for kids that cultivates connection, creativity, and an embodied learning approach.
By combining her background in curriculum design and education, her previous work experience in the art and design industry, and her own personal meditative and yogic practices, Juliana designed an integrated curriculum that uniquely combines literacy, process art, movement, music and more into a space that combines a wellness retreat and classroom.
She hopes that her work will continue to inspire children to cultivate self-love and develop healthy tools for self-expression that they may eventually carry into adulthood.
Juliana is Canadian, born to Italian parents, and currently lives with her husband and child near Los Angeles, California. In her spare time, she enjoys writing and creating art inspired by hiking west coast mountains, reading and collecting rare books, and traveling to magnificent places on the World Heritage List.
